Pay Day Wishlist

It's nearly payday...yay! My favourite time of the month where my wage is literally burning a hole in my pocket. Not only that, with Black Friday approaching I am keeping my eyes pealed for mega deals online (it's not about trying to survive in the shops) - a shoppers favourite day of the year. However, saying all this, I do need to reign myself in a little as I also have lots of Christmas presents to buy too, but as long as I'm shopping, I'm happy!

I decided to put together my current pay day list that I am forever adding too, however I've narrowed it down to my ultimate favourites from this week.

I'm totally obsessed with faux fur anything and this Missguided jacket is just to die. I love that it is a long length and the fur collar just finishes it perfectly - not to mention how cosy and warm it looks too!
I recently saw these ASOS camo jeans on Sarah Ashcroft and I instantly fell in love with them. I'm already a huge fan of the camo/military trend and these jeans are just ideal. I love the faded camo fabric as it adds a distressed/faded look, making them not too bold and 'in your face' as such.

I've also been loving midi skirts of late and this Missguided faux suede skirt is super sassy. It can be dressed up or down with a denim shirt or a long sleeve crop top, which I would then team with the equally beautiful Missguided chain heels that I have been lusting over too.

I really enjoy quite plain/minimal clothing (I know, boring!) and I recently set my sights on this knitted bodycon dress from River Island as I think its so easy to wear and great for just day to day wear. Lastly, no Christmas outfit is complete without a statement piece of jewellery and these pretty chokers are right up my street. The gold choker is from ARK and is such a steal at just £6! The silver choker/necklace is from River Island and is a bit more expensive, but still affordable. This would finish off an LBD perfectly.

And there you have it, my current faves! I've linked them all below.

My Birthday Surprise :)

Hello dolls :)

I haven't blogged for a little while as it was my birthday this weekend just gone and I had the most amazing time! I was already really excited and I didn't expect what actually happened. I got lots of lovely treats and dolla, so I can go and splurge on some lovely treats for myself (& blog about them of course!). Basically it was my birthday on the 10th of June and I spent Friday - Tuesday being the birthday girl! Greedy huh?!

Basically my mum came up on Friday and we went for a lovely meal and she bought me some of the beloved American Apparel disco pants I have wanted for ages. I was having such a dilem over the red and black ones, but I ended up opting for black just because I know I will get loads of wear out of them. The red ones are too gorge to leave alone though, so I'm thinking of splashing out on them too!

On the Saturday night, I went out with my friends from uni as I would be turning 22 (eughh) at midnight, so obvs needing a celebratory tequila or ten right?! I wore an outfit I have previously posted, as I haven't had chance to wear it yet, and I was busting to get my skirt out for the world to see :) please excuse my tip of a room!

Skirt: H&M
Gold Stiletto Gladiators: Topshop

I had such a fun night and got very drunk. Therefore I spent my birthday day, in bed, eating McDonald's and having a Disney sesh, perfect hangover day in my eyes. My best friend had arranged for me to head round to hers later on for a 'surprise'. I presumed we would be having some food and a few drinks, so I whacked on a smart/casual outfit and headed round.

I knocked on the door and next thing I know I had party poppers in my face and there was balloons everywhere! I was getting videoed for some reason and I was like, 'what the hell is going on'. They (my best friend and her flat mates) read out a speech to me, which was hilarious, then led me to a cupboard with 'Birthday Surprise' wrote on the door. I was still like what is going on, opened the door and my friends from home jumped out ! Amazing ! I was so made up and then I started crying, I am too emosh its cringe! They had all kept it a secret and came all the way up to be with me on my birthday :) how cute!

The best thing about all of this, my boyf is in Fiji and planned it all with my best friend <3 I am so blessed to have good people in my life. I got lots of lovely goodies and they had put together all my favourite songs on a playlist, as well as lots of champagne for us all to celebrate with. Next thing I know, I am whisked off to one of my fave resteraunts - Chiquito's, and I get a yummy meal and catterpillar birthday cake - YUM! As it was a Sunday we had a few drinks in some of the bars in town, then went back to the flat to continue the party with lots of drinking games. I had such an amazing day. My friend had even kindly brought up my new ASOS dress that I had sent home, which I LOVE.

Birthday gyal !

To top things off, I woke up the next day so blaaamin excited as I had got tickets for Jay Z and Kanye at the M.E.N for that night. I'm not even joking it was literally one of the best nights of my life, on par with when I went to see Beyonce (and held her hand *died with happiness*) and I never thought I would say that. I had standing tickets and I ended up right at the barrier of the second stage, so I was really close! I LOVE the Watch The Throne album, plus they did looaads of their old stuff, I think there was 40 songs all together and an encore of N*ggas in Paris five times! Amazing! Sorry if you don't appreciate this type of music but I really had such an amazing time! We hit a club afterwards then crashed and burned as soon as we hit the pillow! Exhausted. Here is what I wore for the gig and my quick change & shower (I felt disgusting!) for the club afterwards.

OOTD & OOTN

Olah :)

So this week I went on a massive job hunt for part time work whilst I'm at uni *sigh*, and then decided to not let the lack of money of a student life get me down (I'm doing a masters = NO LOAN) and hit one of my favourite RnB night's with my friends.

I never really bother with massive heels in the day as it just gets more painful as the day goes on, but I thought I should dress up a little bit more if I wanted someone to employ me!

Here is what I wore...

Leather Jacket- Zara
Black Top- Primark
Jumpsuit- Republic
Tan belt- Primark
Platform Chelsea boots- Topshop
Body Chain- Topshop

This outfit literally began with me wanting to wear my jumpsuit, (which I got ages ago for £5 in the sale at Republic...Bargain!) and then just throwing other random things on to make it look more appealing and weather savvy for the lovely northern coldness.

I literally never go anywhere without my Zara leather jacket, it was such a good investment. I believe every girl should own one, as they go with everything and I love wearing it to  keep me warm on nights out! Definitely a wardrobe essential I think, well one of mine anyway.

I thought I would put on my platform Chelsea boots as I never really get chance to wear them. I see them more as a casual day shoe than a going out one, however I'm sure they would look pretty cute dressed up as well. The picture I took doesn't really show them off very well so here are the exact same ones a little clearer from the website...

They definitely made my outfit look a lot smarter and considering I was walking around all day, they didn't hurt one bit which is always a bonus with heels in my eyes!

So yes that was my outfit of the day ! Later on I was persuaded (didn't take long) to go to my all time favourite night in Manchester- Juicy. I absolutely love the place, Classic old school RnB & Hip Hop...my kind of night. If anyone ever ventures to Manchester on a Wednesday and appreciates this kind of music too, I suggest you check it out :).

However to my misfortune of our group arriving too late, the queue was HUGE and it was more than likely we wouldn't get in. I for one like most girls, HATE queueing in the cold, so we all decided to hit the club over the road- Factory. I don't know if anyone has been before but for me it's one of them that I use as a last resort - it's okay. Anyway, regardless to this-Wednesday night was AMAZING! It basically played most of what you would hear in Juicy so I was a very happy girl. Here we all are before we went out ....

My outfit is the black all in one ASOS number, which I bought a while ago but I have always dismissed it as a choice in the past for some reason. I think I tried it on with big heels once and it just looked a bit trashy with all the back cut out...don't ask me why it just did ha! However I thought it looked pretty cool with high tops and a loose chain belt from River Island since we all went for a casual look. It's just one of them sort of nights, no one wears heels and its all very chilled out. Don't get me wrong I love getting glammed up and putting my massive heels on, but sometimes its nice to not have the pain kicking in on your feet as you begin to sober up!

I also had major clothes envy of my friend Elle's skin tight shimmery blue pants from American Apparel - how gorgeous are they?! I need to invest in a pair!

Anyway that's all my outfits of the day :)

xoxo
