Milk & Blush Quad Weft

Isn’t it just a dream when you find the product you have been looking for, in for what feels like forever? There aren’t many things that make me happier than having thick and healthy hair, which in the past, my hair has sometimes struggled with. I’ve been pretty brutal on my hair in the past... Lots of bleach, glue in extensions (WHY), back combing and lots of heat from straighteners and curlers. Basically, my hair isn’t what it once was. My mum was always telling me how I shouldn’t have damaged my hair so much as it used to be so thick and healthy. But me being me, never listened and here we are today…

I’ve always loved wearing extensions which initially was to increase the length of my hair. I had a massive chop when I was at uni when the gradual bob was all the rage, which you would think would make my hair really healthy again, however as I was still throwing a load of bleach on it, it wasn’t really improving the condition of my hair and it wasn’t growing either. I eventually decided to go back to my natural dark roots and added extensions back in again. I have always worn clip in extensions as I like being able to take my extensions in and out when I please. I don’t really like sleeping in them so I definitely know that this is the option for me when it comes to the best extensions for my hair.

I have tried numerous types/brands of extensions and some have been awful, some have been average and very few have been amazing. At this point I think I wanted both thickness and length to help my hair so I was using full head packs of extensions until my hair was at a length I was happy with. I decided to make a conscious effort to look after my hair to get it back to a state that was close to what it once was and with less heat and hair oil (I swear by these rules), my hair actually got back to a good length and much better condition. However, my hair is still growing from neglect from clip in extensions which were too heavy on my hair and pulled my hair out which basically pulled out a huge chunk of my hair at the bottom of my head (I know, I’m an idiot). I then decided to stop putting in as many extensions and as the length was where I wanted it, I was now just wanting the extra bit of thickness, especially for nights out and when I wanted to get glammed up.

This is where I found Milk & Blush (formerly DTY Looks) for amazing extensions. I have bought extensions from this brand a few times now and the quality of hair is brilliant (100% Remy Human Hair) and I absolutely swear by it now. I always use the Milk & Blush quad extensions in the longest length, 20-22 inches. The quad weft is made up of four lines of extensions but as they are all on one set of clips you escape the heavy pulling on your hair and still get the desired volume and thickness. I put mine just across my head usually in line with my ears and instantly feel such a difference in the thickness of my hair. The extensions blend really well too as they are a similar length to my natural hair, which is great. Not only am I always super impressed with the quality of the hair, the packaging is pretty too. The hair comes in a fully sealed pouch and kept tangle free in a hair net. Milk & Blush also provide you with a very helpful care guide for all the hair products they sell, giving you lots of tips and advice of how to care and maintain your extensions.

I've also found that the team at Milk & Blush are extremely helpful and offer a great customer service. When I was buying my first pack of hair from Milk & Blush, I was emailing the customer service team who advised me on what colour would be best for me to get as it's sometimes quite hard to see when buying online. I sent a few pictures of my hair across and I was matched with the perfect colour! Just what you want really. This hair really is just the dreamiest hair and I would highly recommend them to anyone! I've linked below my quad extensions if you are looking for some extra volume in your life. They also offer a lot more than just quad extensions so if you are after a full head, an ombré kit (yes how amazing!) or even just a hair piece, make sure you check them out!

Bodysuit - Boohoo//Skirt & Shoes- Missguided

As you can already guess, I'm pretty besotted with a nude palette and one of my favourite combos is a white and nude outfit. I got this bodysuit from Boohoo a while back for my work Christmas party but as it's quite revealing, I had to do a quick last minute resort to a trusty LBD. I love this bodysuit but felt it definitely came under the NSFW category. Knowing my luck I would have had a Janet Jackson moment and then had to face everyone on Monday...not the one! It's definitely one for a girls night or date night with the boy. It comes in a few colours if white isn't for you but I thought this shade would go best with my beloved nude skirt from Missguided. This skirt is one of my most worn wardrobe items as its a great basic piece that works well dressed up or down. I have this in quite a few colours as its so affordable and a great staple piece to mix and match with.
In terms of shoes, I haven't had these beauts off my feet since I got them. I love them that much my boyfriend even got me a second pair for when I probably ruin my original ones on a drunk night out. I've linked all items below too, if you want to have a look

I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and new year - I was super busy hence not much blogging got done but spending time with my family and friends took over and as I don't get to see them an awful lot I just enjoyed it all! I definitely over indulged though so its healthy eating from now to get the summer bod ready (help). Who's with me?

Pay Day Wishlist

It's nearly payday...yay! My favourite time of the month where my wage is literally burning a hole in my pocket. Not only that, with Black Friday approaching I am keeping my eyes pealed for mega deals online (it's not about trying to survive in the shops) - a shoppers favourite day of the year. However, saying all this, I do need to reign myself in a little as I also have lots of Christmas presents to buy too, but as long as I'm shopping, I'm happy!

I decided to put together my current pay day list that I am forever adding too, however I've narrowed it down to my ultimate favourites from this week.

I'm totally obsessed with faux fur anything and this Missguided jacket is just to die. I love that it is a long length and the fur collar just finishes it perfectly - not to mention how cosy and warm it looks too!
I recently saw these ASOS camo jeans on Sarah Ashcroft and I instantly fell in love with them. I'm already a huge fan of the camo/military trend and these jeans are just ideal. I love the faded camo fabric as it adds a distressed/faded look, making them not too bold and 'in your face' as such.

I've also been loving midi skirts of late and this Missguided faux suede skirt is super sassy. It can be dressed up or down with a denim shirt or a long sleeve crop top, which I would then team with the equally beautiful Missguided chain heels that I have been lusting over too.

I really enjoy quite plain/minimal clothing (I know, boring!) and I recently set my sights on this knitted bodycon dress from River Island as I think its so easy to wear and great for just day to day wear. Lastly, no Christmas outfit is complete without a statement piece of jewellery and these pretty chokers are right up my street. The gold choker is from ARK and is such a steal at just £6! The silver choker/necklace is from River Island and is a bit more expensive, but still affordable. This would finish off an LBD perfectly.

And there you have it, my current faves! I've linked them all below.

cute AF

T-Shirt - Boohoo // Jeans - H&M // Shoes - Public Desire

How cute is this T-shirt though?! Cute AF (sorry). I'm seriously lacking in plain t-shirts so when I saw this one I knew the I needed it in my life. I think I've only bought something from Boohoo once before so I was a bit unsure what the quality etc. was going to be like considering it was so reasonable in price. I'm pleased to say it was just what I wanted and the fabric is pretty thick, so no see through dramas, yay! I've tried to search this online now, however it seems to be out of stock :( hopefully it will be back on soon!

Seeing as everyone has gone khaki obsessed this season (including myself), I decided I needed some khaki jeans in my life for everyday wear. I hadn't seen any that I liked or were the fit I was after until I came across these in H&M. They are a mid rise jean with cute zip detailing on the pockets and are SUPER comfy. Basically the dream jeans. I can't find these online but they are £14.99 in store. Bargain or what.

I'm also still pretty content with these Public Desire 'Satine' heels, which I have mentioned before are in the sale now so if you're after some white cage heels snap them up quick!

Hope everyone's Sunday is as lazy as mine zZzZzZ!

Khaki tones

Bodysuit & Midi Skirt - Missguided // Converse - JD Sports

Shock, horror. Another Missguided outfit! They are just my favourite, although I should probably ban myself from the site for a while as it's getting a bit out of control! I thought this outfit was appropriate for tonight as when I opened my social media feeds this morning, all I saw was Yeezy Season II. I'm not gonna lie, Kanye's new collection got me excited and I decided to post a latest outfit with similar tones. Chatting with the girls in work today told me they were not overly keen on Season II and I saw it got a lot of bad press alongside the good. However, unless I'm totally missing something, I absolutely loved it! Whether its my devoted love for all things nude or the fact that North was looking just too cute at the show, I was definitely feeling it!

I'm always drawn to these shades and they work all year round for me. I love a minimal outfit that's not too fussy and I know I'm going to get loads of wear out of both the bodysuit and midi skirt (that I also have in 3 other colours...oops!). I also managed to get my mitts on some of the new Chuck II Converse Hi tops that are super crisp white right now! I'm dreading getting them dirty, agh!

Did you like the Yeezy Season II collection or nahh?

Black Heart

Hat - H&M // Top- Sample Sale // Skirt - H&M // Shoes - Missguided

So I'm back in black again and getting serious festival fever with all festivals slowly approaching! I am heading to Parklife this weekend for my birthday and then hopefully Wireless festival in July! Exciting times. Choosing festival outfits is always one of my favourite parts of the whole festival experience as I feel like you can go all out and not look silly when embracing the boho vibes to their full potential, lol! Although I am going to grab myself some new attire for Parklife, I feel like today's outfit was inspired by my excitement for festival season and I can't wait to wear this at some point over summer. I love a fedora hat and I want to expand my collection in khaki and tan - these are so perfect for those bad hair days! I managed to pick up my crop top from a sample sale in work which I just thought would go with pretty much anything and ideal for festivals/going out. The skirt is from H&M which my friend gave me after she decided it wasn't for her. I can't believe she wanted to let it go but I'm not complaining - I love a classic maxi skirt and with it being black, it goes with anything and everything. I am mostly obsessing over my shoes though that are new from Missguided and are SO comfy. They are ideal for every day wear and casual drinks at night. Definitely no regrets buying these, that's for sure.

Have you started getting your festival outfits?

back to ba$ics

Top - River Island // Skirt - H&M // Shoes - Public Desire

So as you have probably already guessed from my recent posts I am loving all things basic at the minute (not people though, obvs). I keep finding myself drawn to simple pieces that are super easy to wear for any occasion. I had seen a lot of these jersey draped skirts around and was planning on getting myself a nude one but then after much deliberation, decided I should venture out and buy another colour that isn't white, black or nude (help). My friend had picked up this grey draped skirt a few weeks ago which looked totally lush on, so I thought grey was a good alternative for my nude obsession and at £9.99 I really couldn't complain. I then opted for my white crop top as it's so comfy and I am still obsessed with the super cute sweetheart neck line. Also FYI this is now in the sale on River Island for £10 and also comes in black and stripes... it really is the best crop top I own, promise! To finish the outfit I went for some Kim K-esque Gianna nude lace up heels from Public Desire, which I think are totally dreamy. I love a strong lace up heel and these definitely fit the bill! Next stop - the Kylie Jenner inspired, knee high lace up heels from Public Desire are a must, they are too beaut! If you haven't seen them you should definitely go have a look here!

All Black

 Maxi Dress - Missguided

Every girl has those staple wardrobe pieces, and recently I've been trying to build up my collection as I feel like I'm constantly just throwing everything away. I've always been such an impulsive buyer and will just buy something on a whim that's going to fly in and out of fashion, which to be fair, is okay when we're just dealing with high street prices. I've also tried to buy more black recently, which is pretty strange as most girls I know live in black but I seem to always wear white and cream, so I decided I needed to switch it up. I wanted a black low back maxi for summer, therefore I obviously turned straight to to my old faithful, Missguided and found this little beaut. This dress was actually on my wish list in a previous post, so I have had my eye on it for a while. I wanted a dress that I could wear day to night and I figured this was perfect as the split and pretty spaghetti strap back are pretty sassy, but can still look cute with some flat high gladiator sandals too. I love the high neck on the dress as well as I think these necklines are always pretty flattering and contrast well with the high split. This dress also comes in a few different colours including taupe and navy which are both super beauts too - I want them all!

White x Snake

River Island White Outfit
Top & Skirt - River Island // Shoes - Missguided

As soon as summer comes around I get totally and utterly obsessed with all white errythaaang. I mean, who doesn't love looking that bit more tanned with some white garms.... non?

So on a recent 'after-work' around the shops mooch (always dangerous after a long day), I fell in love with this pretty white skirt and top whilst browsing around River Island. I love simple/minimalistic clothes that can be dressed up or down and go with pretty much anything, so I decided these would be a strong wardrobe addition as we creep into summer. The top is super flattering and a thick jersey fabric, which makes this great quality and saves the embarrassment of the world seeing your bra through a white top. I picked up the skirt to try on for something to go with the top, but soon fell in love with this too and decided to get them both. You really can't go wrong with a white pleather mini skirt right?!

Then to finish things off I had, yet again been browsing Missguided for some new feet treats and came across these gladiator/snake heels that are perfect for summer and not too high, so perfect for day to night. I love a gladiator style heel and these are surprisingly comfortable too and go with so much. There are always tons of discount codes and deals with Missguided so it would be rude not to when you can get shoes like these for total bargz!

Have you started summer shopping yet?

My MAC Faves

 MAC Lipsticks
Please Me MAC Lipstick
Kinda Sexy MAC LipstickMAC Lipstick Swatches
In Order // Riri Woo // Please Me // Kinda Sexy

So like most girls, I'm pretty partial to a MAC lipstick and I find them a reliable and high quality lip product that I can wear from day to night. I know there are always loads of MAC lipstick posts flying around, but I always like seeing everyone's faves and if one keeps coming up, it's probably worth giving a try! I am by all means no make-up/lipstick expert at all, but I know what I like and what works for me, so I thought I might as well share what I believe is worth spending your money on.

Even though I have built up a fair collection of MAC lipsticks, I always find myself reaching for the same ones unless I'm tryna work a certain colour theme. I seem to be drawn to matte lipsticks too, and although they can be quite drying on your lips at times, it's nothing a slick of gloss can't sort out. I always find that they are highly pigmented and give you a full, strong colour on your lips.

My first fave is the 'RiRi Woo' red lipstick from the Rihanna x MAC collection. I literally ran to Selfridges to get as much of this collection as I could when it first came out! Absolute desperation. Anyway, I'm totally glad I did because it's definitely my go to lipstick for nights out, date night and just when I wanna step up my look in general. I love red lipsticks because they make your lips look fuller and really stand out. Not to mention how beaut the Rihanna x MAC packaging is alone! You can get the original version of this shade (if you didn't know already) in the form of 'Ruby Woo'.

My second fave had been my ultimate favourite for a long time. 'Please Me' is my everyday go-to lipstick and I absolutely love it. Again, this is a matte lipstick and some people can find quite drying but it really is a beautiful shade of pink and looks just as good with some added lip gloss. It goes with so much and looks amazing all year round so there was no way this couldn't make my top 3!

Last but certainly not least, is my current fave that knocked 'Please Me' off my number one hot spot. If you are lusting after those Kylie Jenner lips (and are not doing the #kyliejennerchallenge - ouch) then 'Kinda Sexy' is a good option and I couldn't rate it any more if I tried. I always struggle with nudes as I hate my lips being paler than my face, but this one is a bit deeper and has pinky tones, which is what suits my skin the most. I know that this is available on line and in the pro stores, as it stopped selling in the normal department stores (waaah).

ALSO...You can get all of these beauties from the Debenhams website which FYI, has 10% off right now! Making them £13.95 - get shopping!

What are your favourite MAC lipsticks?

Miss Guided A/W Picks

Hey dolls,
So I've been a bit AWOL recently due to not having a camera to snap my outfits on - I tried my phone but when I upload the quality is rubbish :( so hopefully I will be able to get one soon and get back on top of things.

Seeing as all the A/W collections have been appearing in my inbox I thought I would put together some of my favourite pieces from the new Miss Guided collection that I have been lusting over. Miss Guided seem to always tick all my boxes and I'm forever excited to see what they come up with when a new season approaches. I'm definitely a summer lover, but I can't wait to get myself some furry pieces for my A/W wardrobe! I have been going through my wardrobe recently and I just want to completely re-vamp everything and start a whole new winter wardrobe- but who doesn't!?

I am definitely for the boho look, whether it be summer or winter so I am all about the rustic floral prints and nude furs making the Effie Maxi Dress and the Jenifer Fur Gilet must haves for autumn! Teamed with some statement gold jewellery like the Blanche Pendant Necklace - I love this look!

I also enjoy wearing different styles and sometimes I just want a grungy day where it's all about the black. I am obsessed with mom jeans at the moment - a bit late on the band wagon but hey... so these
Drew Ripped Mom Jeans are perfect for winter.  My wardrobe is never complete without an oversized t-shirt, and even more when it has our fave supermodels on too - Jourdan Supermodel Boyfriend Tee ! I think a minimal outfit like this looks even better with a statement piece of jewellery and I am loving the Diane Pendant Choker, very gothic-esque.

Last but not least, my picks wouldn't be complete without a bit of nude and pastel thrown in for good measure. I think pastels are definitely one of my favourite trends/colour palette's whatever the weather. I am also a massive sucker for a two piece and love the baby blue combo of the Casey Crop Top and  Madelynn Pencil Skirt - great for dressing up or down. I also picked the Bea Double Chain Skirt as I think this could be a good staple item for winter that will go with everything, plus the gold chain detailing is super cute! If you're a Kardashian fan, I'm sure you will have noticed the Kylie Jenner dungaree that was going around a while ago when she was photographed in Miami in a gorgeous tailored beige pair. I did notice a few similar floating around but they looked pretty crappy material. However, I think the Miss Guided Katayun Tailored Dungarees look really good quality so I might have to give them a whirl!

Are you lovin' the Miss Guided new A/W collections?
