PayDay Wishlist

So pay day is slowly approaching (really slow) and of course I have already been mentally making a list of everything I need in my life as soon as my account gets a much needed update. I’ve been quite good saving money recently so I think a pay day treat is in order. I love this time of year when everything starts getting a bit more summery and gets me super excited for the sunnier season! Summer is my favourite as it usually means holidays, lighter nights and the best clothes.

I’ve got a bad obsession for a neutral palette and anything nude, khaki, camel – I want you. Thrown in with some black, white and grey, these are my go-to colours. I desperately need some new jeans and I thought instead of going for the usual black/denim shades, these Topshop Joni jeans in khaki will be ideal for a wardrobe update. They also have them in camel too which are super nice. Misguided have obviously made my wish list with these grey Biker Ponte Leggings and the nude Ribbed Midi Dress. I think these are great basics that will look good dressed up or down. I basically live in leggings so these are absolute staples for my wardrobe.

I'm heading to Jamaica this summer (woop!) so I need to start getting some swimwear for my vaycay and I've already fallen in love with this Brown Lace Up Swimsuit from River Island. It's super chic and although I don't wear swimsuits a lot on holiday I think it's nice to have at least one with me just in case I want to cover up a bit more. I also love the new caps in at La Moda, especially the Sprung Khaki Faux Suede Cap. This cap comes in lots of different colours but I'm really into khaki at the moment and I think this would look nice with sleek straight hair and some gold hoops.

I'm so happy Zara have started bringing out some new bags for Spring Summer and I have already got my sights set on this beaut Tan Leather Tote Bag. I really like shopper tote bags as I always carry around loads of crap with me and this one even has a cute patterned pouch to keep all the important stuff in - ideal bag. As a bit of a sneaker head, I do love a new pair of trainers and I really want to get my mitts on the Reebok Classic X FACE Stockholm in the dusty pink colour. I think Reebok classics are quite literally a classic trainer and I love that all things retro are now back in fashion. Last but not least is this Adidas Trefoil Sweatshirt in plain and simple, black. I feel like you can't really go wrong with an originals sweater and it is something I can see myself wearing to death as its so easy to wear and will go with most casual outfits.

So that's my list for payday! Roll on next week!

Bodysuit - Boohoo//Skirt & Shoes- Missguided

As you can already guess, I'm pretty besotted with a nude palette and one of my favourite combos is a white and nude outfit. I got this bodysuit from Boohoo a while back for my work Christmas party but as it's quite revealing, I had to do a quick last minute resort to a trusty LBD. I love this bodysuit but felt it definitely came under the NSFW category. Knowing my luck I would have had a Janet Jackson moment and then had to face everyone on Monday...not the one! It's definitely one for a girls night or date night with the boy. It comes in a few colours if white isn't for you but I thought this shade would go best with my beloved nude skirt from Missguided. This skirt is one of my most worn wardrobe items as its a great basic piece that works well dressed up or down. I have this in quite a few colours as its so affordable and a great staple piece to mix and match with.
In terms of shoes, I haven't had these beauts off my feet since I got them. I love them that much my boyfriend even got me a second pair for when I probably ruin my original ones on a drunk night out. I've linked all items below too, if you want to have a look

I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and new year - I was super busy hence not much blogging got done but spending time with my family and friends took over and as I don't get to see them an awful lot I just enjoyed it all! I definitely over indulged though so its healthy eating from now to get the summer bod ready (help). Who's with me?

Black Heart

Hat - H&M // Top- Sample Sale // Skirt - H&M // Shoes - Missguided

So I'm back in black again and getting serious festival fever with all festivals slowly approaching! I am heading to Parklife this weekend for my birthday and then hopefully Wireless festival in July! Exciting times. Choosing festival outfits is always one of my favourite parts of the whole festival experience as I feel like you can go all out and not look silly when embracing the boho vibes to their full potential, lol! Although I am going to grab myself some new attire for Parklife, I feel like today's outfit was inspired by my excitement for festival season and I can't wait to wear this at some point over summer. I love a fedora hat and I want to expand my collection in khaki and tan - these are so perfect for those bad hair days! I managed to pick up my crop top from a sample sale in work which I just thought would go with pretty much anything and ideal for festivals/going out. The skirt is from H&M which my friend gave me after she decided it wasn't for her. I can't believe she wanted to let it go but I'm not complaining - I love a classic maxi skirt and with it being black, it goes with anything and everything. I am mostly obsessing over my shoes though that are new from Missguided and are SO comfy. They are ideal for every day wear and casual drinks at night. Definitely no regrets buying these, that's for sure.

Have you started getting your festival outfits?

Mini Boho Haul

All- Primark

Hey dolls,
So as summer approaches, I always find myself getting a little too excited and keen for topping up my summer wardrobe. Although my summer wardrobe is always full to the brim, I constantly need more and I am so bad for throwing things away (totally ruthless - I hoard nothing!) which then gives me some sort of mental acceptance in my head that it is now okay to buy even more outfits. Confessions of a shopaholic, I am. So I had a little browse in Primark the other day and fell in love with a few holiday essentials, that I obviously needed ;) . As soon as I see a bit of sunshine I feel the need to transform into everything bohemian which is exactly what happened to me on this day. However, I did get all of this for just £35 which is a bargain if I ever saw one.

I originally went in for a statement necklace (they have so many gorgeous ones in at the moment) and then ended up getting greedy and walking round the shop with various items hanging off me. I then picked up some aviators and standard gold hoops which were only £2 each. I then ventured upstairs to the shoe section and low and behold fell in love with these tan gladiator sandals - perfect for holidays! I then spotted this gorgeous printed bag just sat by itself, staring longingly at me so I had to get it, right?! I will be using this for all things travel and it will be ideal for carting all the crap I carry around with me! At just £8, how could I resist! So if you are looking for some holiday accessories, I would go and have a look as there is quite a few cute bits in!

Have you bought anything here recently?

PU & Pink

PU Top - Glamorous* // Skort - Ark // Heels - Primark

Hey dolls,

I feel like I've been a bit absent these past few weeks but I'm back and have lots of new outfits to share with you! I recently was lucky enough to receive this gorgeous PU top from Glamorous and I have fallen in love. I have a thing for all things PU/leather at the minute so  I was super happy to wear this! As you may already know/been a part of, it was Freshers week recently and I decided to get involved at the Arndale centre to take advantage of the 'Student Lock In' night where there was lots of amazing offers forcing me to at least buy one thing!

I was pretty impressed with myself when I only walked away with this skort from Ark. I have wanted one of the Zara ones for a while but never really wanted one that much that I had to rush out and buy it immediately. Don't get me wrong, I think they are lush. However, when the excitement of a new trend has been and gone, I'm sort of not too bothered about it any more. SO as I felt like that ship had sailed when thinking of getting one of the original colours, I decided this bright pink one is perfect for now and goes pretty well with the PU top. I slung on my fave black heels that I got based on the fact they reminded me of Kim Kardashian. You can get the PU top HERE and the pink skort HERE (or in store!). I also need to add that I am super excited for Vogue's Fashion Night Out tomorrow in Manchester - Very exciting!I hope to see some blogger faces about on the night, which I'm sure I will!

Hope everyone is having a good week!

dope

Jumper - H&M// Dress - Topshop // Belt - Ebay // Timberlands - Footlocker

Hey dolls!

It's Friday, it's Friday! *danceface* I feel like this week has properly dragged so I am very happy to say hello to the weekend - I have a busy one with extra work shifts but one of the besties is coming to visit tonight and my momma is visiting on Sunday which is always nice.

Me and my flatmate are moving out of our pretty flat *sobs* and the other day we were sat in her room whilst she sorted out all her clothes she had had enough of. She has an amazing wardrobe and when she said 'just take anything you like' I jumped in the pile of clothes and started shopping! I pulled out quite a few nice things including this Topshop dress (perfect colour for A/W!) and the slouchy H&M sweater. I love slouchy sweaters, they are so easy to wear and I love throwing them over an outfit and they are amazing for them days when you just want to chill. Ever since I got my Timberland boots, I have been obsessed - I love how they look anyway but they are SO comfy and perfect for Winter. I have been walking to work in them and they are just ideal. I have a bit of a trek to work so you don't really want to be hiking up a hill in some heels. I know they are not everyone's choice but personally I love them. I added the belt to finish off the outfit which you can get off eBay here and you can choose which word you would like in the gold lettering. These are only around five pounds which is ideal for a waist belt.

I wore this outfit to work as we have no uniform and when you're working in fashion you always feel a pressure to look nice! I felt super comfortable in this and will definitely be throwing it all on again!

Hope everyone has a lushweekend!

Better be street if your lookin at me

Pants - Forever 21 // Cami - A random shop in Marbella // SnapBack - Es Cana Swimwear*//Shoes - Primark

Hey dolls,

So this is an outfit I got a while back but seeing as it the PU trend is back in business for A/W I decided to grab myself some leather look pants from Forever 21 last time I was in the Trafford Centre. I've never actually bought anything from Forever 21 and although there was a few pieces that caught my eye, I wasn't overwhelmed if I'm completely honest. Saying that, we were in between seasons which is always a bit of hit and miss, so I will give it another go next time I'm in.

I started wearing these PU pants when it was that strange humid/it's raining/it's sunny phase and it was probably one of the worst decisions I have ever made. Fake leather and humidity is not the one! I genuinely had to peel them off my legs after my long walk home after work - disgusting, I know. So now it's getting a bit chillier I am ready to rock them a second time round in the hope they will keep me warm.

I got this SnapBack from Es Cana Beachwear a while ago and think these are cool for not only holidays away in the sun but adding a bit of urban to my outfit. I think it breaks up all the black I'm wearing and finishes off the outfit. I also love the print and colour as it's a little more girlie than your average SnapBack AND it's only £9.99 which is a total bargain! You can grab a silver (like mine) or gold one HERE.

Do you buy much from Forever 21 or Es Cana?

FU Wishlist

Hey dolls,

Well, as if I didn't love Fashion Union enough already, they are running a 'wishlist' competition right now to win £500 of FU vouchers!! Wowza. I obviously couldn't miss out on something as good as that! So, as you can see I have made a compilation of all my current 'wants' off the Fashion Union website! I have to say it was very hard to narrow it down as if you haven't already checked out their ''new arrivals' page, there is LOADS of gorgeous stuff to kick start  the Autumn/Winter season!

I seem to have been drawn to everything black, white and red - I didn't even plan that I swear! I was picking out my faves and when I looked at them all together I was like hmm, guess what colours you're wearing this year Ashleigh. I am loving everything leather and minimal at the moment and I also STILL don't have a kimono even though I have wanted one for time! So if I was to win this would be first on the list along with the gorgeous LBD I spotted that looks super flattering and sophisticated.

You can also enter the comp HERE and you have until Monday 30th September 5 pm to enter. Also don't forget to take advantage of the FREE delivery this month over at Fashion Union!!

wednesday wishlist

wednesday wishlist

Hey dolls,

It's nearly Friday YAY! Its late but my laptop decided to pack in last night when I was trying to put up this 'Wednesday Wants' post. Soo that's annoying as it's obviously not even Wednesday any more. The joys of technology ey. Either way its still my wish list and I still want it all regardless of what day of the week it is so here we go...

1. Pharaoh Bodycon Dress (Pretty Little Thing) - I absolutely love this Pharaoh print! Its a little bit different to your standard bodycon dress and is an absolute steal at £20. Ever since I went to Egypt this year I have been obsessed with everything Egyptian and this definitely fits the bill. Pretty Little Thing always have so much to offer, I fell in love with their website after attending the Pretty Little Thing blogger event and I can't get enough of their stuff!

2. Strap Back Slip Dress (Topshop) - This Topshop beaut was taken into the fitting room with me at the weekend. I LOVE the colour and I was so excited when I saw it! However, when I tried it on I liked it but didn't 'love' it, if you get what I mean? It doesn't really do wonders for my figure as I have quite big boobs and its one of them that just hangs off you. It was alright, yet I can't stop thinking about it now? What is wrong with me? I think I still want it!

3. 'Beware of the Plastics' Purple Baseball T-Shirt (The Pretty Junk) - This top has been a favourite of mine for a while. I am a bit of a hardcore Mean Girls fan so I am certainly feeling the reference of the slogan! I was lucky enough to win one of these tops in a twitter comp and it has become another website I have fallen in love with! They have loads of cool stuff and they stock some amazing brands like 'Spell Designs' and 'Lazy Oaf' to name a few.

4. Azami Ruched Split Maxi Skirt (Miss Guided) - If you haven't checked out the Miss Guided new 'basics' range I suggest you do now. So, so cheap and loads to choose from. I love basic items and I literally filled up my basket the other day and it wasn't even expensive AT ALL. I love a bit of side split so these skirts are right up my street! I already  own one in purple so I think this grey one is perfect for throwing on with a tee tucked in or a bodysuit!

5. Black Tassel Bag (H&M) - I am a massive sucker for tassel, especially when it comes round to Summer and I do love a tassel bag. I already have 3 in black and brown/tan but there's something about this one that just looks expensive and chic. I think this is perfect for the transition into A/W and I'm probably going to try and snap it up for £20!

6. Motel Kimmy Mini Tube Skirt in Green Palm Leaf (Motel) - So this one is a want but I sort of already bought it (oops), it is currently waiting for me at reception yay! I wanted this ever since I saw Lulu Trixabelle wearing the full combo on her blog. I initially wanted the matching top but I'm not sure it would suit me so I just went for the skirt and will pair it up with a black crop or something!

7. Giuseppe Zanotti Shoe Boots - Okay, I'm pretty sure I wont be getting these any time soon, but a girl can dream. With a hefty £800+ price tag these aren't the cheapest but just look how beautiful they are! Very Kim K and probably my favourite style of heel. I love a shoe boot!

It feels like a perfect night to dress up like hipsters

 Dress- Ebay // Hi-Tops - Footlocker // Chain - Ebay // Bag - Zara

Hey Dolls,

Yayyyy it's Friday! My favourite day of the working week AND its still sunny! What is this? What has happened to the UK? Either way I'm not complaining, gimmie more!

Anyway I recently got this little beaut of a dress (pretty sure most people wear it as a top but whatevs) thanks to Charlotte at Lurchhound Loves who I spotted wearing on an instagram post and instantly fell in love. I love tie dye in the Summer and I seem to be immediately drawn to it whenever I'm shopping. I even got my own tie dying dyes to have a go myself, but haven't got round to using yet. I think I had previously seen this one on Pretty Little Thing, however, Charlotte mentioned she got hers off Ebay for cheaper so I jumped on that one and got searching!

I managed to find one for just under £9 on Ebay which is a total bargain! 'Buy Now' was pressed immediately. Within about 2 days my dress arrived so it was super speedy delivery, which I love! Charlotte teamed hers with a skirt, which is probably more sensible than me just going all out with nothing else on, but at the moment I'm just finding the weather too hot so I'm opting for minimal, sorry guys. I wore mine with some baby pink socks, my fave Airforce1 high tops and a gold chain (also from Ebay - just type in 'gold chain', loads come up) and went for a bit of an urban look. I also had my white Zara baby hanging off my arm and I was sort of enjoying the pastel tie dye/white combo to be honest!

You can get the same dress/top, whatever you want to call it - HERE or HERE (the first one could be sold out now) but you can still get the same dress for just under a tenner - not bad huh?!

Are you Ebay obsessed like me?

KJ Dressing Room

Dress - KJ Dressing Room* // Bag - Topshop // Shoes - Primark

Hey dolls!

Hope you have all had a lovely weekend! Mine was pretty busy but lots of fun all the same :) Now it's back to a week of work...owww! I wish I could be a lady of leisure whilst its this warm!

Despite being back at work I received a lovely package from KJ Dressing Room last week and was absolutely over the moon with this gorgeous bodycon dress (might I add wrapped up in lovely gold tissue paper - I love good packaging). KJ Dressing Room are a brand new online fashion website that sell dresses, bags and accessories for both day and night occasions. The brand belongs to the lovely Jade Turner & Kate Thorne - who some of you might recognise if you are a Geordie Shore fan, as James' girlfriend, a very beautiful lady! After browsing the website I had already fallen in love with some of the dresses in the night wear section - I'm a sucker for a white dress and they have plenty to choose from! Not only do they have a gorgeous night wear selection for super reasonable prices (From around £20), last night they launched their brand new day wear range which is equally as lovely - lots of gorgeous midi and maxi dresses for Summer! I especially love the cream tie maxi dress, so if you are jetting off on holidays soon this would be perfect against a gorgeous holiday tan!

The dress I have on is also something I would certainly be taking away with me, I think it would look lush with a tan and I felt like it was a really flattering fit. The fabric is quite tight so its good for holding you in whilst sculpting and smoothing your shape - yay! I absolutely love the pattern/design on the front of the dress which is why I decided to leave out any statement jewellery as I didn't want to take away attention from the detail. I teamed the dress with some black Kim K inspired heels that I managed to bag off a photo shoot from work ;) and a black 3D flower clutch from Topshop. I love a bodycon dress as I find they are ideal for both day to night wear as they are easily dressed up or down. Although I would probably wear this dressed up, I think it would look nice with some black gladiator sandals also! You can get my dress HERE and it retails for a very reasonable £31.99!

Have you checked out KJ Dressing Room?

Dress - OMG Fashion*// Gladiator Sandles - Next // Necklace - Primark // Cuff - Topshop

Hey dolls,

I can't believe how hot it still is! I wish I wasn't working so I could go out and enjoy it! I was in the car before and it was 31 degrees! Jheez, Manchester is HOT. I'm so glad it's the weekend so I can enjoy the sun instead of being stuck in a sauna at work.

I was recently given the opportunity to choose a midi dress from OMG Fashion and as a lover of the midi style I jumped at the chance! I find midi dresses are perfect for every day with flats or converse, and then they can be easily dressed up for casual drinks with some wedges or heels. Perfecto. I also feel that they are good for days when its sort of warm but not warm enough for a mini dress, like a good balance of cover up!

When browsing the midi dresses there were lots of options ranging from £10-£25 which is super cheap for a dress in my eyes! Yay for cheap midi dresses!! I went for an aztec pattern midi which is called the 'Mia Mint Foil Aztec Cap Midi Dress' as I think aztec is pretty Summer appropriate and I love the gold foil pattern on the dress too which is a nice touch to the dress than just a standard pattern. I teamed this with my gladiator sandals and some gold jewellery from Primark and Topshop to add to the gold detail on the dress. This is the sort of outfit I would wear at the weekend shopping or after work for drinks as its super comfy and not too dressed up.

If midi dresses aren't your thing OMG Fashion have lots of cute pieces that are super cheap on their site too, I especially love some of the swim wear online, so make sure you have a look if you are going away anywhere nice soon! Saying that it's probably ideal for England at the moment in this heat!

Have you shopped at OMG Fashion before?

All I see is dollar $ign$

Rihanna Playsuit - River Island // Shoes - Zara // Bag - Miss Selfridge // Cocktails - My Cocktail*

Hey Dolls,

Aghh I've had a massive gap from blogging again :( boo, I always have these phases when I all of a sudden get super busy and don't have time to breathe, let alone blog! I have been up to lots of fun stuff though so I suppose its all good. Last weekend I went to Wireless Festival in London and it was AMAZE! I went last year and loved it so I was very excited for this year, especially as the weather is so lush at the moment. I've got to say though I was pretty much melting away in the heat down South, I think it was 32 degrees at one point = about to die. Despite being cooked alive it was such a good weekend and I cant wait to book for 2014!!

Previous to this I went out for a night with my friends in Manchester at Tiger Tiger for Koosdays, which admittedly I wasn't overly excited for and then I ended up having such a funny night - I love it when that happens! I think half the reason I wasn't too hyped for it was due to the fact I had NOTHING to wear. My wardrobe was like looking into a mound of clothes and seeing blank, absolutely nothing. I haven't been out for a while as well so I feel like I needed something new to wear, like most girls. Then, as if it was fate, I woke up in the morning and the River Island Sale was plastered all over my Twitter feed, so I decided to go check it out as I'd had my eye on quite a lot of the Rihanna stuff. When I got there, there was SO much! I was like a kid in a candy store... on a budget (WAHH). I wanted the red playsuit for ages and I can remember going to get it full price but there was only ever a size 18 in. No surprise the 18 was still there but I decided to try it on anyway out of desperation and it fit like a glove?! Definitely some sort of size mistake there, but obviously I was over the moon! I also picked up some Rihanna shorts that I wore for Wireless that looked super cute - post coming soon of festival outfits!

I teamed the playsuit with my Zara babies and a white clutch bag and I was ready to go! We had pre drinks at my flat and I had very kindly been sent these super YUMMY cocktails from 'My Cocktail'. They have become my new favourite drink and I can't tell you how perfect they are for picnics, pre-drinking, parties, days at the beach and festivals! They have a range of flavours (I got Cosmopolitan, Woo Woo and Mojito) and each pouch serves up to 14 drinks! As well as this the cocktails last up to 3 months so you don't have to drink them all at once which means no waste :). These beauts are only £8 as well which is such a bargain!! You can get these from ASDA and the My Cocktail website even has an option to type in your postcode to find your nearest stockists, what more could you ask for :) ! I will 100% be re-purchasing as they have definitely become my new tipple and all my friends were loving them!

Have you tried 'My Cocktails'?
Did you buy any Rihanna River Island clothes?

Summer Dayz

Crop Top - Topshop // Levis - Vintage // Converse - Footlocker // Mini Shopper - Zara

Hey dolls!

How gorgeous is this weather??!!! I love how hot it is and I have my fingers crossed that it stays like this till next weekend for Wireless Festival!

I thought I'd do an outfit post on one of my day outfits from the weekend :) I practically live in these Levis shorts even though they are definitely far too big for me but never mind, I love them all the same.I recently went and ventured into the sales (oh god) and my first stop was Topshop. I haven't been in Topshop for ages and even though it has some pretty nice stuff, I find myself enjoying the likes of Zara & H&M more these days. I find Topshop quite overpriced for what you get to be honest but they do have some pretty beaut stuff.

ANYWAY, one of the things I picked up in the sale was this blush pink crop top that I thought was super cute and I can wear in the day or night. Gotta love a multi purpose top! Plus its perfect for super hot days like recently. I also went into the Zara sale where I found the bag I had wanted for aaages (when the whole mini shopper bag craze came about). It only had £3 knocked off but it was uber cheap to begin with, so I snapped that one up sharpish before I was attacked by crazy zara shoppers/addicts. It's safe to say I have used it lots since :D

Has anyone else had any good Summer Sale buys?
