Embellished

Racer Crop - Miss Selfridge // Embellished Shorts - Miss Selfridge // Gladiators - Next (old) // Rings - Topshop //Necklace - Primark

Hey!

How nice is the sun right now? I am very impressed with the English weather this week, especially as it rains allllll the time in Manchester (like abnormally). It's making me feel super summery and makes getting up every morning so much easier, not to mention picking out nice sun appropriate outfits each day. The only down side is being stuck in work whilst it's boiling, so I hope it holds out for the weekend too! Although I moan about being in work, I have actually just got a new job that I have been super excited about and I'm enjoying meeting lots of lovely new workies and having a bit of a change :) which is not always a bad thing.

Any way, rambling on over - I recently got a few things from Miss Selfridge that I put together to wear through the day or on holiday/festivals. I think embellished shorts look amazing on a night out but I think dressed down they can look pretty cute too. These ones I picked up in the sale so they are an absolute bargain down from the original price. If you don't know already, I always find Miss Selfridge has lots to offer when it comes down to beads and embellishment. I decided to wear this with a crop top that I have already worn loads of times now as its such a staple item for me. I love a crop top and I really like this racer style, so I got them in a couple of colours as I know I will get lots of wear out of them.

If you haven't noticed already, Primark have had some amazing jewellery these past few months and I have loved finding some absolute gems in there. One being this silver piece that I completely fell in love with. I don't usually wear that much silver jewellery, but this one I had to have! There are lots of gorgeous summer styles so make sure you have a look if you are passing by!

I hope everyone has a lovelyyyy weekend :)

Soul Junkie

Two Piece - Soul Junkie // Gladiators - Primark // Hoops - Topshop

Hey dolls!

So I've just got back from an amazing holiday in Portugal and I've definitely got a bad case of the holiday blues! I'm already trying to find another one! It was so nice to just chill out for a week and not have to think about work or all the other sh!t you have to deal with every day. I also went to a wedding whilst I was there which was beautiful - perfect weather and setting at the Hilton hotel in Vilamoura - I would have been made up if it was mine! I obviously bought loads to wear before I went and as usual, never got chance to wear everything :(

I didn't get chance to wear this gorgeous two piece whilst I was away but it is definitely a perfect holiday outfit and would look amazing in Ibiza or the Caribbean - well anywhere hot to be honest! I found Soul Junkie through bloggers and social media and I fell in love with all of Vanessa's (creator & designer) stunning, one of a kind designs. It's the perfect mix of gypsy meets bohemian which is right up my street. I love the fact that there is only a few of each design available making your piece extra special at an affordable price. There is nothing worse than heading on holiday and everyone's wearing the same Topshop dress, right?!

Vanessa creates a range of two pieces and kimono/cover ups, which are equally as gorgeous. I have definitely jumped on the co-ord craze so my first purchase was obviously one of these. There is also now a 'Boho Baby' section available which is just TOO CUTE!!
I have my eye on so many others so I better get on to my favourite's quick before they all get snapped up! The one I am wearing is called 'Night Becomes Day' and there are still some available. You can get one of these HERE for £35.00 - bargain.

Have you bought a Soul Junkie piece before?

when i met you in the summer

Dress- Zara // Arm Accessories (earrings!) - Primark

Hey dolls,

How exciting is it that it is nearly summer!! As soon as Coachella starts springing up on my social media feeds I can't help but feel 1. Super jel and 2. Summer is coming! I have seen so many gorgeous outfits already and I cant wait to go and get my own for festivals in the UK this year - make sure you have a look, so much festival inspo!

I recently found this beautiful dress in Zara (how lush is Zara at the minute though?!) and I decided it had to be mine as I had been searching for a nice dress to wear at a wedding abroad this summer. I thought this would be perfect as its pretty light weight and not too heavy for a whole day in the heat. I always have a problem finding a dress for weddings as I am obsessed with wearing creams & whites which isn't ideal with this being the brides colour *siiigh* ....anyway, I was super happy when I found this mint one which I am going to wear with tan/gold shoes and accessories to finish it off. The gold arm accessories I have on are actually earrings from Primark (lol), however when I was trying these on they were SO heavy on my ears I decided I couldn't wear them. No one wants droopy ear lobes! I put them on my arms for some reason and voila - some gold arm bands! I don't like seeing things go to waste :D

Have you been in Zara lately?

Jasmine

Top - Topshop // Skirt - Zara // Bracelets - Fossil & Tiffany // Head Jewel - Duty Free Shop

Hey dolls,

Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend! I have been learning how to cook, which is always good as I'm sick of eating the same meals every day - kinda boring! Especially when you are trying to be healthy...variety is definitely the key for me otherwise I will slip back to my naughty foods! I also went to my first meeting for new on line magazine, FIBRE magazine, which is super exciting for me! I am a fashion & lifestyle writer for this super chic new magazine and I am very excited about it all - lots of good things to come! If you fancy having a browse you can do HERE

Besides probably being the only one drunk at the meeting and then trying to cure a heavy head on the Saturday, I haven't done much else. I have put myself on a strict 'no buying clothes' ban and it's the worst thing EVER. There is just no way I can save if I don't though, so hopefully it will pay off (literally). I got really worried I would have nothing to blog about but I opened my wardrobe and discovered a couple of newish things I haven't blogged about yet, so it's all good. I also want to give you guys my thoughts on my DTY Looks extension quad too, so I will be writing up a review this week :).

I absolutely love this Zara skirt that I bought in the sale, it's so ideal for summer and I cant wait to team this with some crop tops on holiday! I think they have it in other colours too AND for less than £7 at the moment, I might have to break the ban and grab a few more!

Have you started your summer shopping yet? I can't wait to start buying bikinis!

Summer Dayz

Crop Top - Topshop // Levis - Vintage // Converse - Footlocker // Mini Shopper - Zara

Hey dolls!

How gorgeous is this weather??!!! I love how hot it is and I have my fingers crossed that it stays like this till next weekend for Wireless Festival!

I thought I'd do an outfit post on one of my day outfits from the weekend :) I practically live in these Levis shorts even though they are definitely far too big for me but never mind, I love them all the same.I recently went and ventured into the sales (oh god) and my first stop was Topshop. I haven't been in Topshop for ages and even though it has some pretty nice stuff, I find myself enjoying the likes of Zara & H&M more these days. I find Topshop quite overpriced for what you get to be honest but they do have some pretty beaut stuff.

ANYWAY, one of the things I picked up in the sale was this blush pink crop top that I thought was super cute and I can wear in the day or night. Gotta love a multi purpose top! Plus its perfect for super hot days like recently. I also went into the Zara sale where I found the bag I had wanted for aaages (when the whole mini shopper bag craze came about). It only had £3 knocked off but it was uber cheap to begin with, so I snapped that one up sharpish before I was attacked by crazy zara shoppers/addicts. It's safe to say I have used it lots since :D

Has anyone else had any good Summer Sale buys?

Life's a Beach

Tassel Bikini - EsCana Beach Boutique* // Levis Shorts - Vintage // Tan Wedges - Manchester Boutique // Body chain - Topshop

Hey Dolls,

I am still very much in holiday spirit after my trips away and was absolutely thrilled to be able to wear some of the gorgeous holiday pieces from beach and holiday wear company Es Cana Beach Boutique! I'm trying to pro long my tan as much as possible and have been slathering on the Garnier 'sunkissed' moisturiser ever since I have got home! Ahhh *holiday sun memories*.

However, if you are lucky enough to have a holiday planned or are going away somewhere soon then I'm sure you will be on the hunt for some beautiful bikinis! If you love a bit of tassel in your life when Summer comes around then I would strongly suggest you have a look at the Es Cana Beach Boutique site as there are quite a few pieces that scream Marbs or Ibiza to me and are super reasonable meaning you can dress to impress but not have to take a massive slash to your bank balance! What more does a girl want ;) I could definitely imagine this bikini around the likes of Ocean club.

You can get the bikini I have HERE for just £14.99 which I think is really reasonable for a full set! Usually that's the amount for just the top! Bargaaaain. If you are after a plainer bikini there are also similar tassel ones available like this one without the print as well as swim suits, jewellery and cover ups! Go check it out!

Are you going anywhere nice this Summer?

Pocahontas

 Top - Get The Label* // Skirt - H&M // Indian Boots - River Island // Bag - Primark

Hey dolls!

Yaaaaaay it's Friday !! Hope you all have fun plans for the weekend, I'm not really doing much except working at Old Trafford on Sunday for the charity game. I hope it stays sunny! I decided to get back to the gym last night and I think I nearly died - definitely over did it :'( all in the name of a Summer bod though!

I recently got sent this gorgeous embellished top from Get The Label which I love. It's an oversized sheer top with a gorgeous gold embellishment pattern on the front. I love white and gold together and I think this is perfect for summer to throw on with a skirt or shorts. It's really lightweight and even comes with a cami that you can put underneath. You can get this HERE for just £12.99!! It RRP's at £26.99 so you are definitely getting a bargain.

I teamed it with my brown H&M skirt which was something silly like £3. I have these in a few colours as I think they are so handy to have and are really comfortable to wear for both day to night wear. My Primark tassel bag was obviously a bargain too but I got this a few years ago. They have loads of tassel things in at the moment though so there is probably something similar knocking about if your a tassel lover like me! I also have been a bit naughty recently and bought myself these beautiful 'Pocha' tassel ankle boots that I have fallen in love with. I popped in River Island to see the new Rihanna collection (which is gorgeous) and then spotted these on offer from £45 to £25. I couldn't really resist, even though I am on a shopping ban and need to save my money....I just can't help myself. I don't really feel too bad though to be honest as they are super comfy, I will get loads of wear out of them and I got them nearly half price - can't complain!

I hope you all have a fab weekend :)

Spring Cable Knit | BraveSoul

                     Jumper - BraveSoul* // Skirt - H&M // Long Gold Chain - Topshop // Tan Wedges - Primark

Hey Dolls,

Hope everyone is having a good week! I am TOO excited to go on holiday now, absolutely sick of this abysmal weather. It's practically bipolar, one minute it's sunny, next it's snowing 8) make your mind up! I seriously need to start planning what I'm going to take with me on my jollies as I don't want to rushing around last minute. I am thinking of doing a holiday essentials post this week whilst I'm packing if anyone would be interested?!

Anyway, I was very kindly sent this gorgeous cable knit jumper from Brave Soul which I absolutely love and I know I am going to get lots of wear out of it! I got to choose this from the website and I instantly fell in love. I am a sucker for whites/creams/beige colours as I feel they go with so much, plus they enhance any tan I might have so to speak! It is super soft and really well made which is really important for me when it comes to jumpers - no one likes an itchy jumper! You can get this beaut cable jumper HERE and it also comes in pink which is super cute for Spring/Summer. I also love this white bubble stitch jumper in white which is quite similar and can be found HERE. There are lots of fab items over at Brave Soul, especially if you are looking for some festival wear too - I have my eye on some of the cute jackets for when I go to Wireless and Parklife festivals!

I teamed this jumper with a long gold chain I got from Topshop a while back, and a tan skirt which you can get from H&M in a range of colours for about £3.99, bargain. I stumbled across my tan wedge boots which I think look pretty cute for now as it's still pretty chilly. These were an emergency Primark purchase when my other boots started falling apart when I was about to go for an interview - nightmare. Serves me right for buying cheap shoes! These however have lasted quite a while now and I think the tube wool edging on them goes well with the jumper.

Have you bought anything from BraveSoul recently?

My Summer Winner | American Apparel

Tank Dress - American Apparel // Snapback - Footlocker // Airforce 1's - Footlocker // Tan Wedges - Manchester Boutique // Gold hoops - Topshop // Watch - Michael Kors

Hey Dolls,

Hope everyone has had a lush weekend! I have been seeing a fair amount of hungover status's today so I'm guessing yes haha. I have had a fairly sober weekend and went to see about my new part time job last night at Manchester night club Bijou. I'm fairly skint at the moment so the extra cash will be very much appreciated! I also was very happy to be reunited with my fave MAC lippie that I got through so quick (please me) and I got to bag myself a free one with the empty product swap, yayy! This weekend - so far so good!

Anyway, a couple of weeks ago, beauty, fashion & lifestyle blogger Carly, posted a dress from American Apparel via Twitter and I fell in love with this perfect Summer/holiday dress. I soon forgot about it though, that was until I was having a browse round town after work one night and ended up in American Apparel window shopping, well apparently. I saw that they had the dress in stock and couldn't resist a little try on. As soon as I put it on I fell into Summer wardrobe mode and I immediately thought I need this dress. I think it is fab for holidays and summer and can be dressed up or down. Me being me ended up buying this dress in yellow AND red, as I just couldn't decide but now I have decided I need it in white too. However, I am going to try a DIY for a white one as this is a basic dress and I think £32 is quite expensive to be blowing on three dresses all the same ha. Especially if I am moaning about being skint 8) This dress is available in TEN colours so there are lots of lush ones to choose from. I have photographed how I would wear this dress for through the day to night, I also think this dress would look fab with a body chain worn back to front so the detail is on the back. You can get this dress HERE and also on ASOS, but I don't think they have the full colour range on ASOS for some reason.

Have you bought anything from AA recently? Have you started impulse buying your Summer wardrobes yet?

Harts & Crosses | Jewellery LOVE

Hey Dolls,

I would just like to introduce you to an AMAZE jewellery website I have discovered! I was having a browse on Twitter and came across the website http://hartsncrosses.bigcartel.com/ . They sell lots of gorgeous cute jewellery pieces that are right up my street! The prices are ridiculously reasonable so I obviously had to have a little purchase! As you can see above, I got the woven bracelet in baby pink (£1) and the wish bone necklace (£2). My items came in lovely packaging which is always a winner for me along with a 'thank you' card and a little peace sticker - such a nice touch :).
They also have rings and earrings and a few bits of accessories and clothes. I love cute jewellery like this and I can't wait to buy more! I have just had another look and I think I am going to have to put in another order - It's too lush! The shipping cost is £1.30 to the UK which again is really reasonable! I definitely will be using Harts +  Crosses when I need some Summer jewellery pieces and I think these are great as little gifts! I'd love opening something from the collection anyway!

Do you like cute pieces like this?
Make sure you check out this site, I promise you will love it!

Wireless Festival 2012

Hey Beautiess,

Sorry for picture overload, but y'know!

So this weekend has been pretty eventful for me! I lost my festival V and had one of the best weekends I've had since my birthday. Despite not having been on holiday yet this year, I've been pretty lucky and have had some amazing weekends this Summer.

So Wireless, wow. What a weekend. If you know me or follow me on twitter, you will know that I am a huge fan of the R n B genre. I like a range of music but when it comes to a festival, I was unsure whether I would enjoy the ones I had heard of, as I am just not indie enough! However, when I heard the Wireless line up, I knew this was the one for me. Drake and Rihanna headlining, along with Nicki Minaj, Wiz Khalifa and J.Cole. I'm sold! I can appreciate that a lot of people don't like this type of music but I personally couldn't have asked for a better line up for my first festival!

Before I headed down to Hyde Park in London where it was all happening, I obviously needed a festival wardrobe plan! As I have never been to a festival before I knew the most obvious thing is going to be wellies. I have wanted a pair of Hunter wellies for a while now and as we have so much bad weather in the UK, I am guaranteed to get my monies worth! I am mad for the baby pink ones, but just my luck - they were all sold out the week I went to get them. I ended up buying the bottle green Hunters, which were my second choice, as I like the traditional welly colour and I figured these would go with a lot of my clothes.

I searched high and low for a waterproof jacket to take with me (last minute, mind you!) and ended up buying one in Miss Selfridge thanks to Chelsea from Through Chelsea's Eyes ! Ta girl ! It was a bright pink and sure to keep me at least a bit dry. Then me being me, managed to leave it in the bag on my bed. I sometimes astound myself with my stupidity. Anyway, I wasn't forking out for another jacket when I was in London and I ended up buying a Primark special for £9.00! It did the job so I can't complain. Now to decide whether to still keep the Miss Selfridge one....

I opted for my Topshop leopard print dress for the first day, then Levis shorts and crop top for the second day. The weather held out pretty well on the first day, it was just the second day that couldn't make it's mind up. I must have took my rain poncho on and off about 10 times! I didn't manage to get too soaked though, just a LOT of mud. When I saw people arriving in brand new high tops, I genuinely thought 'are they serious?' their shoes must have been ruined by the end of it all!

I was loving the festival fashion. Even though I had never been to a festival before, I had previously loved looking at peoples pictures online of their festival outfits, and couldn't wait till I got the chance to have a go at my own! The pictures above show some of the acts outfits and I was especially loving Jessie J's, Rita Ora and Ri 's festival get up! I can't say I would wear Nicki Minaj's outfit but she pulled it off well and was amazing live.Overall an incredible weekend - I just want to do it all over again!

Has anyone else been/going to a festival this year?
Did anyone go to Wireless festival?

Peace & Love
