Mini Boho Haul

All- Primark

Hey dolls,
So as summer approaches, I always find myself getting a little too excited and keen for topping up my summer wardrobe. Although my summer wardrobe is always full to the brim, I constantly need more and I am so bad for throwing things away (totally ruthless - I hoard nothing!) which then gives me some sort of mental acceptance in my head that it is now okay to buy even more outfits. Confessions of a shopaholic, I am. So I had a little browse in Primark the other day and fell in love with a few holiday essentials, that I obviously needed ;) . As soon as I see a bit of sunshine I feel the need to transform into everything bohemian which is exactly what happened to me on this day. However, I did get all of this for just £35 which is a bargain if I ever saw one.

I originally went in for a statement necklace (they have so many gorgeous ones in at the moment) and then ended up getting greedy and walking round the shop with various items hanging off me. I then picked up some aviators and standard gold hoops which were only £2 each. I then ventured upstairs to the shoe section and low and behold fell in love with these tan gladiator sandals - perfect for holidays! I then spotted this gorgeous printed bag just sat by itself, staring longingly at me so I had to get it, right?! I will be using this for all things travel and it will be ideal for carting all the crap I carry around with me! At just £8, how could I resist! So if you are looking for some holiday accessories, I would go and have a look as there is quite a few cute bits in!

Have you bought anything here recently?

Hey Dolls,

Just a little post to show you what I have been buying lately! I've been a bit naughty and had a bit of a spree! I think I deserve it though considering I haven't had a holiday yet this year & I got myself a new job that I love - this is what I'm telling myself anyway!

I am loving Miss Guided at the moment and can't get enough of their new stuff! I'm sick of wearing my Zara leather jacket on a night out (as much as I love it) and I fancied a cream/white boyfriend style blazer to keep me warm. This blazer was only £25.99 !! You can get it HERE. I am also loving the studded collars at the minute so I picked up another Miss Guided dress in cream with the studded collar at £26.99 which you can get HERE.

I was walking through Manchester city centre on the way home last night, and came across 'Hearts & Bows' shop. This is similar to shop 'ARK', if you have heard of it! I absolutely love their stock and I could have bought everything. I managed to narrow it down to the vintage army jacket, leather racer skirt & studded edged collar nude pink blouse. This all came to around £72, which I think is really reasonable considering I got a whole outfit and a jacket. I'm going to wear them for a gig I'm going to this Friday and I don't know if I'm more excited about seeing the band or wearing my new attire, haha.

In Primark I got everything in the picture for £12!! Bargainell ! I needed some large rollers and gold hoops in general and then I have been desperate for a white/cream peplum top, so at £8 I couldn't really say no! If you are into your little charm necklaces, I picked up this letter 'A' one for £1.50 & they have lots of other cute charm necklaces to!

I also couldn't resist some beauty treats too! I decided after reading review after review on Bio Oil and the Sally Hansen 'Insta Dri', I should invest in these products. I haven't tried the 'Insta Dri' yet but I am loving life with the Bio Oil! I coated myself in it last night, and not only does it smell lush, my skin felt AMAZE this morning! I would suggest using it at night, before bed though as I was pretty greasy all night, eww. I got the standard lashes from Superdrug, as at the minute they have a 3 for £10 offer on so it was obviously a sign telling me to stock up 8). I got the individual lashes as well as my favourite going out strip lashes to wear for daytime. I have used these before I got my semi-permanent ones done and I really like them. Unfortunately after wearing semi-permanent for over a year, my eyes gave up on me and started reacting really badly so I had to sack that one off, and this is my alternative. I just threw the magazine & L'oreal youth serum samples in the picture as they were in with the rest of my shopping! See if they make me look any younger...hmm!

Hope you like my pieces!
Hope everyone is having a nice week, roll on Friday!

New Skirt - Think Pink

Hey Beautifuls!

Now that the huge amount of uni work has been lifted from my shoulders, I am free to blog again ! Although, I still have an 18,000 word dissertation to crack out, so my blogging will probably be inconsistent until it is done unfortunately :( roll on September !! I'm gutted that the sun has decided to leave us as well as it is my birthday in a week and I want it to be beaming!

I am TOO excited for my birthday as I have lots of plans for a fun filled birthday weekend. I'm starting on the Saturday night and going out in Manchester's Northern Quarter, with my new roomie Jess and my uni friends for cocktails! Then Sunday is my actual birthday and I have a 'surprise' day, so I've been told to turn up to my best friends flat dressed up (eeek!). Last but not least, Monday is when I get to see Jay-Z and Kanye at the M.E.N arena, and I quite simply CAN.NOT.WAIT!

Anyway, enough of my rabble, I recently have had a few treats since I have been paid and I wanted to share one of them with you today. As you can see I have bought a pink maxi skirt, Levis shorts (finally) and stocked up on my two favourite MAC lipsticks. I'm saving the Levis & Lippie's for another post, otherwise this one would have been pages long!

I found this gorgeous fuchsia pink maxi skirt in H&M. I have been looking for a maxi skirt with a huge split for ages. Do you remember on the X factor final when Matt Cardle sang a duet with Rihanna? - if you do, I was obsessed with the black dress she wore with the daring thigh high split! As you can imagine, when I saw this skirt I fell in love and had to buy it. Plus it was only £24.99, which I think is pretty reasonable for such a lovely piece. I've tried the skirt with two different tops and I think it will look gorgeous with lots of gold jewellery (please excuse my messy bed hair!). It is literally a perfect buy if you are heading off on a plane into the sun and teaming it up with wavy beach hair and a glowing tan. I will be wearing this skirt next Saturday for my night out, but I think it will look lush dressed up or down :).

Hope everyone has an amazing Jubilee weekend! I'm having a quiet one and saving myself for next week!

Peace & Love
