Drunk in love

Skirt - Miss Guided // Top - H&M // Shoes - River Island
Hey dolls,

Oooh my, this is my first post since before Christmas! Bad blogger! I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas & a Happy New Year :) and also ate as much as me *cry face*. I now have to find myself a new gym and some motivation from somewhere to get a bangin bod for Summer....Zzzz. To be honest I am so ready for Summer. I know we have only just had Christmas but I always hate the in between part to Summer - I always find it so hard to dress for with the lovely UK weather (naaat).

Anyway I'm obviously madly obsessed with all PVC pencil skirts since Kimmy K was last rocking one (I bought the tan one from Topshop too!) so I decided to get this pretty pastel pink one from Miss Guided to wear over the Christmas period. I ended up not wearing it due to getting lots of nice things to wear from my family so I now need somewhere to wear this to! The only thing I found with this skirt is that it was a bit too long for my liking, so me being me, decided to give it the snip so it was the same length as my Topshop one. I was a bit apprehensive at first but its the type of fabric that wouldn't fray so it was all good. I had also been putting off the A\W sales because I hate how busy and ruthless people are and I'm just too lazy to be so hyperactive over a sale rail, unless it's something that I really want. Howevveeeeer, I went into River Island on a week day in the hope of less people and I managed to get some beaut new heels and a dress that will be ideal for summer! I'm not gonna lie, I was pretty chuffed with my purchases!

Has anyone else ventured into the sales or are you a hater like me? Haha

Summer Vibes

Celine Tee - Ebay // Necklaces - Topshop // Aztec Skirt - Fashion Union* // Converse - Footlocker // Watch - Michael Kors

Hey dolls,

Hope everyone had a lush bank holiday weekend! How nice was the sun yesterday (and today!) ?! Ideal times. I managed to enjoy the sun yesterday which was so nice as I am still feeling pretty sad that I had to leave Egypt last week! It has now prompted me to clear out my wardrobe and make way for all Summer attire - YAY.

I was very lucky to be able to pick out a few pieces from the Fashion Union S/S collection, which is where I found this very beaut aztec midi skirt. In my eyes this is a staple wardrobe item for Summer, period. I love a bit of aztec, especially with some tan and I think a midi is perfect for all weather possibilities. By this I mean I can wear this dress even when it's not boiling hot (rare occasions in the UK) and still look super summery. Unfortunately this little gem doesn't seem to be in stock however I am lusting after this gorgeous tie dye maxi skirt HERE. If you haven't already checked out Fashion Union, you definitely should. They have lots of gorgeous Summer stuff that you can get for such reasonable prices!

I have teamed my midi with a Celine top I recently got off Ebay which I tied at the back to make a crop top. I have wanted one of these tops for a while since the massive craze amongst all fashion blogs kicked in and now I finally own one as well :). If you are wanting one too, you can get my top HERE. I teamed my outfit with some Converse as I decided to wear this through the day but I would absolutely wear all this out for drinks by swapping the Converse for wedges.

Have you bought anything recently from Fashion Union? Do you love the aztec print too?

Ps. If you have a moment, I would be very grateful if you could vote for me in the Cosmopolitan Awards for 'best new fashion blog' HERE :) xoxo

Denim Skater | Daisy Street

Crop Top - Topshop // Skater Skirt - Daisy Street // Converse - Converse Store // Barbie Necklace - Ebay

Hey Dolls,

TGIF - yayyyy. I am so happy that it's Friday as this means I have a full week off to lie in the sun, and as you can imagine I am VERY excited! I have loads to do before I go so I will standardly be running around like a headless chicken all weekend. I have however, sorted all clothes I am taking as I have so much to do before I go I didn't want to be packing the night before (like usual) and end up forgetting crucial items!

As I have been packing Summer clothes (which feels really weird might I add, as its still freezing in Manchester), I have been getting myself into Summer mood subconsciously hence this Summery outfit. I do love a light denim teamed with white in the warmer months. I have worn my black leather skater skirt to death and I thought it was time to upgrade to a more Summery skater. So after adding this to my wish list I took the plunge and bought this beaut little number from Daisy Street, which at £14.99 is a steal. I think these skirts look lush with a t-shirt tucked in or with a crop top like I have here. Perfect for dressing up or down. I am wearing mine as I would through the day with my Converse but I think it would look pretty dressed up too. You can find this denim skater skirt from Daisy Street HERE.

I'm also LOVING my new Barbie necklace that was yet another Ebay purchase. I swear someone needs to ban me from Ebay, it's becoming a serious addiction I go on it every day and end up buying random stuff that I probably don't need. Either way, I do love this purchase very much. I think this finishes the outfit and have wore this necklace quite a few times now.You can find this super cute necklace for £3.50 on Ebay HERE. Such a bargain!

Have you bought anything from Daisy Street recently?
Are you addicted to Ebay?

Black on White

Tee- Ebay // Leather Skirt - Hearts & Bows // Necklace - Primark // Gold   Cuffs - Ebay // Boots - Daisy Street*
Hey dolls,

Happy Easter everyone :) I hope everyone has an Easter egg to get involved with today, mmm chocolate time!I am loving having the time off work - amen to bank holiday weekends! I'm also going to my friends 21st birthday tonight which I am pretty excited about. Obviously I am still having a dilemma over what to wear but, standard, always last minute!
I thought I'd show you a recent outfit I have been wearing. I have some weird addiction with buying things off Ebay at the minute, it's far too addictive! Anyway, I got this tee and gold cuffs (which I have been meaning to buy for ages) off Ebay the other week and I was pretty impressed considering both probably came to a tenner - what more do you want?! I really need to stop wearing this skirt but it's so easy to wear and goes with pretty much everything, I just can't stop. Although, I have bought the same version in a light denim in order to convert to a summer skater skirt thang. Will post on that one soon!

Hope everyone is having a lush weekend :)

Heart & Maxi Skirt | V Day

Hey dolls,

Happy Valentine's Day :* I hope all you loved up lot are getting spoilt today or tonight! I just thought I'd do a little post on what I am wearing today and obviously show the love by wearing my love heart jumper all in spirit of the V day! I do think Valentines day is very overrated but I think it's pretty cute if you are in a relationship all the same :) n'aaaw!
I got this split maxi skirt from, yeah you guessed it - Primark! ha ha, I have rediscovered my love for Primark recently as they are bringing out some really good pieces and if you didn't know already I love a good side split! They have these skirts in a range of colours and patterns and are such a bargain at £8! I find these perfect for the Spring to Summer transition and are so easy to wear literally throw any top or slouchy jumper on and bam, outfit done! My jumper I have on I got from some random shop in Manchester last year but I have seen a lot flying about at the moment as Wildfox dupes! I whacked my cream bobble hat on as its freeeeeezing and it felt appropriate!

Hope you all have a lovely evening tonight whatever you do!

I ♥ Leopard & Studs

Crop Top - Topshop
Skirt - Zara
Body Chain - Topshop
Boots - Daisy Street*
Watch - Michael Kors

Hi Ladies,

I haven't done an OOTN for a long time so I think I am well overdue an outfit post! I recently went on a night out for my best friends birthday in Manchester at Sakura night club on Deansgate Locks. I had such a fun night and surprised her with tickets to go to Harry Potter world as we are both HP geeks. I was having such a dilemma what to wear as I had been indulging in lots of delicious food all Christmas, as you do, and didn't particularly want to breath in all night.

I got a few nice outfits as Christmas presents but me being me, I still wasn't satisfied and I wanted to wear my new Topshop high neck crop top. I decided to have a browse in the Zara sale, and luckily I found a cute leopard uneven peplum skirt that would look perfect with my top and the peplum meant I wouldn't feel conscious all night 8)

I got lots of cool jewellery bits for Christmas, but I decided to team with my trusty favourite body chain that I got from Topshop last year and besides my usual bits of wrist wear, I kept it to a minimum. I teamed this outfit with a gorgeous pair of spike/studded platform boots in black suede* thanks to Daisy Street which can be found HERE. I am loving Daisy Street at the moment, they have some gorgeous new midi dresses in some gorgeous Spring/Summer prints which are a must for me as they can be dressed down so easily for day, and look amaze for a night out when your all done up! What more do you want!? If you love fashion on a budget this is your place to go.

What do you think of Daisy Street?

New Skirt - Think Pink

Hey Beautifuls!

Now that the huge amount of uni work has been lifted from my shoulders, I am free to blog again ! Although, I still have an 18,000 word dissertation to crack out, so my blogging will probably be inconsistent until it is done unfortunately :( roll on September !! I'm gutted that the sun has decided to leave us as well as it is my birthday in a week and I want it to be beaming!

I am TOO excited for my birthday as I have lots of plans for a fun filled birthday weekend. I'm starting on the Saturday night and going out in Manchester's Northern Quarter, with my new roomie Jess and my uni friends for cocktails! Then Sunday is my actual birthday and I have a 'surprise' day, so I've been told to turn up to my best friends flat dressed up (eeek!). Last but not least, Monday is when I get to see Jay-Z and Kanye at the M.E.N arena, and I quite simply CAN.NOT.WAIT!

Anyway, enough of my rabble, I recently have had a few treats since I have been paid and I wanted to share one of them with you today. As you can see I have bought a pink maxi skirt, Levis shorts (finally) and stocked up on my two favourite MAC lipsticks. I'm saving the Levis & Lippie's for another post, otherwise this one would have been pages long!

I found this gorgeous fuchsia pink maxi skirt in H&M. I have been looking for a maxi skirt with a huge split for ages. Do you remember on the X factor final when Matt Cardle sang a duet with Rihanna? - if you do, I was obsessed with the black dress she wore with the daring thigh high split! As you can imagine, when I saw this skirt I fell in love and had to buy it. Plus it was only £24.99, which I think is pretty reasonable for such a lovely piece. I've tried the skirt with two different tops and I think it will look gorgeous with lots of gold jewellery (please excuse my messy bed hair!). It is literally a perfect buy if you are heading off on a plane into the sun and teaming it up with wavy beach hair and a glowing tan. I will be wearing this skirt next Saturday for my night out, but I think it will look lush dressed up or down :).

Hope everyone has an amazing Jubilee weekend! I'm having a quiet one and saving myself for next week!

Peace & Love
