Concerts Galore ! #2

So after having the pleasure of Katy Perry, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to go and see Bruno Mars perform at the Manchester Apollo two days later. I had never seen him live before, however judging from his recent guest star X Factor performance, I already had high expectations, that were definitely fulfilled.

Even though it was a much smaller venue than the M.E.N arena, I enjoyed the intimacy of the concert as I felt he could interact more with the audience. Although, I'm pretty sure he could fill the M.E.N based on the number of screaming girls next to me asking him to marry them...

Bruno certainly delivered throughout the show, not only with his new songs, old songs and classic UK number ones such as 'Beautiful Girls' and 'Just the way you are', but his cheeky smile and sense of humour seemed to keep everyone hooked throughout.

I don't know what it is about performers but I always enjoy watching them joke around on stage with other members of the band, I suppose its a way of showing that they are actually enjoying what they do and want to be there as much as you do to have fun.

Definitely worth the money, I'm sure he will hit the bigger arenas next time round!

Concerts Galore ! #1

Last week I had the opportunity to see three concerts, which I can safely say were all amazing. Firstly, Katy Perry for Halloween was definitely a treat, and after seeing her twice before (same tour-I'm a bit obsessed) she still managed to deliver an amazing performance.

Katy Perry in action !

Fortunately for KP knows how to make an audience laugh and her humour was on top form, asking "Why is it, English people insisted dressing up as 'sluts' for Halloween?" Welcome to Manchester ! I know people have doubted her singing ability during liver performances from Xfactor live shows in 2010, where she was slated. But after seeing her sing live three times, I can only commend her for her outstanding performances and spot on vocal ability.
