So I came home back to the lakes this weekend and I couldn't have come at a better time - I need a break! As much as I love the city life, there is nothing better than coming home to see the fam and spending a bit of time in the country air! My little brother has managed to slowly take over my bedroom with all his crap which I am not happy about (if you're reading this - move it) but other than that it's been a lovely weekend so far! Today me and my mum went to a little town called Ulverston and spent a few hours looking in all the cute vintage 'shabby chic' looking home shops and eating bon bons from the old school sweet shop - yum!

 

If you have read any of my previous posts I mentioned that I had broke my camera *sobs* so until I can fork out for a new one I have been borrowing and using my trusty Iphone 5. The quality isn't amazing but I don't think these images have come out too bad considering. It was nice to take some outfit pics in my back garden as usually I have to work with a city apartment which isn't always the prettiest when it comes to background scenery! My flatmate very kindly gave me this top as she wasn't feeling it anymore so I didn't hesitate to snap this out her hands when she offered it out, ha! I think its super cute and great for the Summer - Autumn transition! I also love my new H&M boots and they have barely left my feet since buying them last week as they are perfect for my trek to work and are super comfy. What's not to love!

 

I hope everyone is having a good weekend - I'm having a girlie night in tonight with lots of unhealthy food, good company and the new x factor series. I know, I know, my life is most certainly rock & roll........ ha!

How gorgeous is this weather??!!! I love how hot it is and I have my fingers crossed that it stays like this till next weekend for Wireless Festival! 

I thought I'd do an outfit post on one of my day outfits from the weekend :) I practically live in these Levis shorts even though they are definitely far too big for me but never mind, I love them all the same.I recently went and ventured into the sales (oh god) and my first stop was Topshop. I haven't been in Topshop for ages and even though it has some pretty nice stuff, I find myself enjoying the likes of Zara & H&M more these days. I find Topshop quite overpriced for what you get to be honest but they do have some pretty beaut stuff. 

ANYWAY, one of the things I picked up in the sale was this blush pink crop top that I thought was super cute and I can wear in the day or night. Gotta love a multi purpose top! Plus its perfect for super hot days like recently. I also went into the Zara sale where I found the bag I had wanted for aaages (when the whole mini shopper bag craze came about). It only had £3 knocked off but it was uber cheap to begin with, so I snapped that one up sharpish before I was attacked by crazy zara shoppers/addicts. It's safe to say I have used it lots since :D

I love a girlie snapback, so I was very happy to receive this in my South Beach goodie bag when I attended the event recently! Another holiday essential! 

Last but not least my brand new sparkly headphones! I received these in the Glamorous event party bag and I LOVE them! They are a metallic pink with Swarovski crystals in the headphones - what is not to love?! They are very good quality as well. I listen to my ipod every day without fail and I cannot think of anything worse than poor quality headphones where the volume is on full and I am still struggling to hear a thing. These also match my pink ipod nano so this was a bonus - all pink errythiiiing! They came in a very well packed gift box that included all the extras such as; a soft storage and travel bag (perfect for when I am just constantly throwing anything and everything in my bag), 6 extra pairs of silicone tips and 3 pairs of memory foam tips. I love products that give you all the back bits and bobs as I am always losing/breaking things and it's nice to know you have back up and don't have to fork out for more! Hope everyone is having a good week! I just wanted to share with you a lush new brand I have been lusting over the past few weeks.I came across this brand via Facebook and I thought it was an amazing concept with clothes that were right up my street. RE:Store is an "Online fashion retailer specialising in; high quality one-off vintage remade garments and limited edition T-shirts for urban ladies and gents. "RE:defining the original..."
I think customising vintage clothing with an urban edge is definitely a niche that I most certainly would buy into - who doesn't want unique pieces of clothing!?

When I noticed they had some vintage lakers vests I immediately snapped one up as I know it's something I would get a lot of wear out of and I was already picturing wearing it with my vintage Levi's some gold jewellery and some form of sneaks! Also how cool are the swing tickets? Love it. For a custom made vest at £18 it's super reasonable too which is what you want when you are a high street gyal like me!
